5 Ways To Hide Cellulite

Cellulite is the bane of many women’s lives and unfortunately is quite hard to control. Having cellulite comes down to your jeans, diet and amount of physical activity but even the skinniest of models can have cellulite so don’t be disheartened or hide your body away. If you are using a topical cream and doing squats everyday but still see no difference then it might be worth using a few tips and tricks to hide your cellulite in the short term. Here are 5 brilliant ways to disguise your cellulite so you can feel more confident when it comes to getting those fabulous pins out!

A good fake tan is your best friend

Have you ever noticed that you look better with a tan? It’s not because you have lost any weight necessarily, it’s more likely down to the fact that a tan makes you look thinner. It creates shade and can draw the eye away from cellulite ridden areas of the body. Don’t hop on the sun beds, just apply some good quality fake tan and slip those shorts on.

Wear a sarong on the beach

Wearing a swimsuit or bikini on holiday can fill some women with dread but wearing a sarong on your bottom half will not only look great but it will help hide any dimply skin. Wear a sheer sarong so that the breeze can flow through the material on a hot day. It will hide any areas you don’t want on show and dry quicker after a dip in the pool (not to mention look great).

Wear tights

Tights do exactly what they say on the tin. They make the legs look tighter which will in turn reduce the appearance of cellulite so you can still wear that mini skirt you love. Opaque tights are great in winter as they are alway on trend. Clear or nude tights will have a more natural effect when worn with shorts or a skirt.

Use a coffee grind scrub

Not only does this reduce the appearance of cellulite almost instantly, it’s pretty much free too! Take the unwanted coffee grinds from your morning coffee pot and mix with olive or coconut oil to make a paste. Rub this all over the affected areas for around 10 minutes and wrap in cling film for 30 minutes. The caffeine in coffee provides antioxidants and massaging the coffee grinds exfoliates skin and increases blood flow which helps tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Wear skinny jeans
This fashion staple looks good and it will hide your cellulite for sure. Skinny jeans are obviously tight and therefore compress the skin slightly making your bum and thighs look smoother and tighter. Think you’re too old for skinny jeans? Well you’re not. They look great on older women, try wearing a loose top or jumper with them and pair them with long boots in the winter and sandals or cute pumps in the summer.
